Field Day is Friday, May 25th. Our class will be going outside after lunch around 1:00. We are invited to stay until 2:00. We will stay as long as the children are engaged and are being successful. It looks like there will be water play available. Please pack a complete set of extra clothes and a plastic bag for the wet clothing. Thank you!
This week we will talk about bugs that do not meet the insect criteria such as worms, spiders and millipedes. We will wrap up our Bug theme next week with a short author study of Eric Carle. One of our catepillars has created its chysalis and another is in the "J" position. Hopefully we will have butterflies in a few days.
Our last day of school is Friday, June 15th. We will be having an end of the year celebration at 2:15. If the weather is nice, we will be outside enjoying different play stations and popsicles. If it is raining, we will hold it in our classroom.
